C.C.E.F. stands for

"Choice for Children Education Foundation".

C.C.E.F. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and a "Functionally Integrated Type III Supporting Organization" that is run by parent volunteers of Livermore Valley Charter School (L.V.C.S.). We provide fundraising activities to close the "funding gap" left from inadequate state & local funding.

Currently, L.V.C.S. receives "$1,168 less" per student than other local schools. The funding gap for the 2011-2012 school year is nearly "$1.1 Million dollars" or 938 students x $1,168 per student.

All funds raised through C.C.E.F. go EXCLUSIVELY to the operational budget of L.V.C.S. and are RESTRICTED to the following programs:  Art, Music, Remediation, Global Language, Primary Science, Library, and Technology.

The C.C.E.F. Board meets monthly and typically on the 3rd Wednesday evening of each month from 7pm-9pm in the Library at Livermore Valley Charter School. Every effort will be made to post the meeting agendas one week in advance of the meeting.

We are proponents of open and honest communication, transparency and increased collaboration. As a result, all Board Meetings are open to the Public and we highly encourage parents, teachers and all stakeholders of the L.V.C.S. community to attend.
